Cornerstone provides emergency shelter and supportive housing for a diversity of women.
Our services are offered in an environment which promotes dignity and a sense of hope.
We are committed to public education and advocacy, and strive to increase safe, affordable housing and to end homelessness.

Welcome to Cornerstone
We are a community organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women in Ottawa.
We want every woman to have a safe, affordable place to call home so she can reach her full potential in a caring community.

Journey of Hope
After five years of planning, the Cornerstone Foundation was established to raise the funds necessary to build a new facility.

Garden Party and Fashion Show. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Garden Party and Fashion Show this year. We raised $19,500.00 to help Ottawa’s Homeless Women.

If you or someone you know needs emergency shelter, call us at 237-4669 any time and we will make sure you have a place to stay until you can make future plans.
If you are in crisis and need support other than emergency shelter, call the Ottawa Distress Centre at 238-1089.
