Limited-Time Funding available for BVOR Refugee Sponsorship

By | News | No Comments

The recently announced BVOR Fund presents an opportunity for groups to sponsor Blended Visa Office-Referred refugees without the need to fundraise. All financial requirements are taken care of by the BVOR Fund and the Government of Canada.

Your group (minimally of five people to sponsor an individual or couple, and 8-10 people to sponsor a family with children) would be responsible for the resettlement tasks that make such a difference for newcomers as they adjust to the first year of their new life in Canada. The Diocese of Ottawa and its partners in this initiative will offer plenty of guidance and training to help your group.

The BVOR Fund will be available only until September 17, 2018, which is when applications to sponsor need to be submitted in order to allow enough processing time for the arrival of the refugees by the end of this year.

Please consider registering for the webinar below to learn more about this opportunity.
