As the war in Gaza continues to affect the people throughout the region—especially the small Christian community— Archbishop Hosam Naoum has written on behalf of all our friends in the Diocese of Jerusalem, inviting Anglicans across the world to respond to an Advent Appeal. The appeal is accompanied by a Daily Meditations booklet written by the clergy of the diocese. Archbishop Hosam writes of “the current situation in our beloved Holy Land and the scenes that have shattered our hearts” and invites donations to help “bring smiles to the faces of as many children as possible, as well as support to struggling families.”

Please consider a generous donation to the ministry of our partner diocese, especially as violence continues to rage in the land where the Prince of Peace was born.

The Right Reverend Shane Parker
Bishop of Ottawa
